Children can explore the Hershey Children’s Garden through a morning of nature-focused fairy play before the Botanical Garden opens for the day.
Activities
- Make a fairy wand.
- Enjoy a light “tea” and snacks.
- Meet the Garden Fairies during a scavenger hunt.
- Listen to a whimsical story.
- Decorate a teacup planter to take home.
Costumes and imaginative dress are encouraged. The event runs rain or shine, with activities moving indoors during inclement weather. The Children’s Garden is stroller-friendly, though families should expect some natural, uneven paths as well as bridges and stepping stones designed for exploratory play.
