See the Asian Lantern Festival from your own vehicle on a timed drive through the zoo's illuminated displays. The experience usually takes 45–60 minutes, and each ticket permits one trip. Families must choose a 30-minute entry slot online and arrive within 30 minutes of that reserved time.
Before you go
- Everyone must remain inside the vehicle except in a designated safety area or emergency.
- Vehicles may be no larger than 20 feet long, 6.5 feet wide, and 10 feet tall. Convertibles are permitted, but motorcycles are not.
- Restrooms are available near the Otter parking lot before entry; no restrooms are available along the drive.
- The zoo is tobacco-free, and pets are not allowed in participating vehicles.
- The event runs rain or shine without rain checks. The box office is closed on drive-through nights, so tickets must be purchased online while available.
