Start

Route
- Start at the Ashland Avenue end of the Bloomingdale Trail beside Walsh Park.
- Follow the elevated main path west, remaining on the trail past each neighborhood access ramp.
- Turn around at the Ridgeway Avenue end after 2.7 miles.
- Retrace the same elevated trail east to Walsh Park.
Good to know
The official trail is 2.7 miles one way, so the return makes this an unusually long easy-surface walk. The 10-foot main path is shared with cyclists and runners, and the trail is busiest in fair weather.
