This two-week camp for students entering grades 6–8 examines the fascinating—and sometimes disgusting—ways animal bodies work. Campers learn what blood, waste, and other biological processes reveal to zoo caregivers and researchers while meeting scientists and keepers, taking field trips, collaborating with peers, and participating in a late-stay experience.

Campers must be available for both weeks and must be registered by a legal guardian for the grade they will enter in fall. Required forms and updated medical information are due by May 1 or within 72 hours of a later purchase. Electronic devices, including phones and smartwatches, should remain at home.

Aftercare is available until 5 p.m., with limited capacity and a separately announced fee. A $130 nut-free lunch package includes snacks; otherwise, campers must bring nut-free meals and snacks that do not require refrigeration.
