During this five-day camp, rising PreK–5 campers investigate the diversity of animal life. Activities are tailored by grade and include exploring rainforest layers, comparing the traits that distinguish birds, seals, snakes, and other animal groups, studying animal families and local wildlife at Nature Boardwalk, and tracing how producers, herbivores, carnivores, and scavengers sustain a healthy food web.

Campers must register according to the grade they will enter in fall. Rising PreK campers must be at least 4 on the first day and independently toilet trained. A legal guardian must register the child, and required forms and current medical information are due by May 1 or within 72 hours of a later purchase.

Optional aftercare runs until 5 p.m. for $150. A $65 nut-free lunch package includes a daily snack; families who decline it must pack nut-free meals and snacks that require no refrigeration.
