Radámes “Juni” Figueroa’s participatory installation turns the gallery into a place for karaoke, gathering, and rest. Its Caribbean-inspired structure incorporates seating, artist-designed window shades, and a karaoke station visitors may use throughout the evening.
The playlist draws from reggaetón, reggae, dancehall, salsa, and other Caribbean styles. The program coincides with the MCA’s free Tuesday admission for Illinois residents.
