Poetry Pop-up: Poetry Lives Here

Find poet-in-residence Eric Elshtain in Stanley Field Hall and ask him to compose a poem about a favorite scientific object or idea. Visitors can also draw inspiration from the museum’s collection and begin shaping poems of their own at his typewriter station.

The drop-in series is intended to help visitors see familiar specimens and exhibitions in a new way. No previous poetry experience is required.
