PlayLab PlayDate: Tully Monster Celebration with Paul Mayer

Celebrate the Tully Monster and the anniversary of its August 31, 1989 designation as Illinois’ state fossil. The museum’s Geology Collections team hosts a storytime-centered PlayDate introducing families to this unusual prehistoric creature.

Before you go

• This is a free, drop-in activity; advance registration is not required.
• The program is designed for families with children ages 2–6, though siblings may attend.
• A caregiver age 18 or older must remain with the children.
• Meet in the Crown Family PlayLab on the Ground Level of the East Wing and consider arriving 10 minutes early.
• General museum admission is still required.
