Help Just Roots with maintenance projects at Saint James Community Farm during a Chicago Conservation Corps volunteer morning. Participants under 18 may take part when accompanied by an adult.
What to bring
- Clothes that can get muddy
- Closed-toe shoes
- A filled water bottle and snack
The workday proceeds rain or shine. The farm follows a pack-in, pack-out policy, so families must take home any wrappers or other waste they bring. Registration is required, and additional instructions are sent to registrants. Attendance also enrolls participants as C3 Explorers, with access to future workshops and volunteer opportunities.
