Family Fun Fur-iday

Spend an after-hours summer evening at the zoo with a kid-friendly DJ, animal chats, educational carts, games, and activities. Admission also includes drop-in improv workshops from The Second City, an interactive instrument safari, music workshops, face painting, and unlimited carousel and train rides.

Food, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages will be sold on-site. Every adult and child needs a ticket; child tickets cover guests through age 12. The event runs rain or shine, tickets are nonrefundable, and re-entry is not permitted. Most habitats are expected to be open, although individual animals may choose to remain behind the scenes. Advance purchase is recommended because gate sales depend on availability.
