The park’s ocean-themed August series presents Blue Crush. Guests may bring picnic blankets or chairs and snacks. The event space opens at 7 p.m., the movie follows shortly after sunset, and the first 100 guests receive complimentary popcorn.
Admission is free and open to the public. This PG-13 sports drama is most appropriate for older children attending with a parent. Organizer-listed parking includes the Discovery Place deck, 415 W. 7th St., 309 W. Trade St. and the Bank of America garage at 401 N. Tryon St.
