Explore bolero, the sentimental Latin music tradition that emerged in late-19th-century Cuba, through live performance and bilingual storytelling. Soprano and guitarist Dora Cardona performs songs while narration covers the genre’s history, composers, and musical anecdotes. Lucila Ruvalcaba of Asociación Cultural de Artes y Letras de México wrote and coordinated the program.
