JA Camp CEO is part of Junior Achievement’s weeklong day-camp program for students entering grades 5–8. Campers work with peers to develop a business plan, practice communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, and pitch their idea to working business professionals for feedback.
A typical day includes arrival from 8:30–9 a.m., morning gathering and crew time, instructional workshops, career-connected breakouts with guest speakers, lunch, an afternoon workshop and special activity, and dismissal beginning at 3:45 p.m.
The $335 weekly fee includes instructional materials, a camp T-shirt, Friday lunch, and additional programming. Afternoon extended care costs $40 for the week. Limited scholarships were offered, but the scholarship deadline and general registration have passed.
