More than 50 local zine makers, poets, and comic artists gather to sell, trade, and share their self-published work at this free community arts festival.
Hands-on activities
Book Arts will run letterpress and screen-printing demonstrations in its lower-level studio. Participants can print a zine or screen-print a commemorative T-shirt.
The festival also includes an exhibition of zines created by high-school students through programs at Book Arts, CEPA Gallery, Squeaky Wheel, and BICA, highlighting young artists’ stories, ideas, and creative voices.
