The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Florida-based tribute band Crazy Fingers combine rock and symphonic sound in a concert conducted by Bradley Thachuk. The program reimagines Grateful Dead favorites including “Sugar Magnolia,” “Stella Blue,” “Touch of Grey,” and “Truckin’.” Crazy Fingers features Rich Friedman and Johnny Nichols on guitar and vocals, Josh Foster on keyboards and vocals, Bubba Newton on bass, and Pete Lavezzoli on drums and vocals.
Shakedown at Kleinhans
A free, public Grateful Dead-inspired market runs from 3–6 p.m. in the Mary Seaton Room. Ticketed concertgoers may continue visiting it through intermission. Local musician Aaron Ziolkowski provides live music from 3–6 p.m.; vendors offer art, tie-dye, jewelry, records, vintage finds, handmade goods, pins, and other merchandise. The Buffalo Cannabis Network will also have an information booth.
The Cheesy Chick food truck is scheduled outside from 3–7 p.m., serving grilled cheese, macaroni and cheese, keto bowls, and other choices, including vegan and gluten-free options.
