Restoration Tour

A longtime restoration team member leads this 90-minute look at the four-decade effort to restore Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House. Using a personal collection of objects—from bricks to the Winged Victory statue—the guide explains how original elements were located or reconstructed, how specialized artisans and the community contributed, and how materials were selected to honor Wright's design.

The route covers the Martin House's first floor, Pergola, Conservatory, and Barton House and includes admission to the current special exhibition. Expect stairs, substantial walking, and standing. The tour is not wheelchair accessible and is not intended for children younger than 8.
