EPIC’s outdoor summer literacy program brings a different themed storytime to the Great Lawn each week. The whole-family format goes beyond reading aloud: children may answer questions, predict story outcomes, explore a related STEM idea, make art, move, or use imaginative play.
The program is designed to strengthen oral language, early reading, listening, print awareness, attention, and family connection. Advance registration is available through EPIC; weekly themes are announced separately.
