Campers study stars, planets, meteorites, and the wider solar system through hands-on activities and objects from the museum’s collections. Every group also visits the planetarium. Activities are adapted by age; preschool and entering K–1 groups are sold out, while the page lists groups for children entering grades 2–5.
Camp logistics
- Drop-off is 8:30–9 a.m.; pickup is 4–4:30 p.m.
- Prearranged late pickup runs until 5:30 p.m. for $12 per 30 minutes per day.
- Independent bathroom skills are required; Pull-Ups are not permitted.
- Bring a bagged lunch requiring no refrigeration; a daily snack is supplied.
- Registration, payment, health forms, and immunization records are due at least two weeks before camp.
