The Historic Colored Musicians Club & Jazz Museum presents a free eight-hour outdoor jazz festival in Lafayette Square. Kahlil Kwame Bell and Special EFX with Chieli Minucci headline, with opening performances by RNSM Band, Gaubaza Band, and Sehrea N’Dayu & The Enchanted Sounds.
Bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. There are no assigned seats or reserved viewing areas, and downtown public parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The optional Eventbrite RSVP functions only as an event reminder.
