Learn beginner-friendly 18th-century country dances with the Commonwealth Vintage Dancers. Instruction begins with the first step, and participants may attend solo or with a partner. The event explicitly welcomes young and old alike. Period or vintage clothing is encouraged but optional.

The special exhibit Declaring the Revolution: America’s Printed Path to Independence will be open free from 5:30–7 p.m. Food and drinks will be sold, and the Museum Store will remain open. Smith Hall is carpeted rather than fitted with a wooden dance floor, so comfortable flat-soled shoes are recommended.

The program is free and open to the public. Reservations are strongly recommended, and doors to the main hall generally open about one hour before the program.
