A free, all-ages park evening with music by The Timba Messengers, dinner, Knucklebones games and activities, climate education, and updates from the Boston Parks Department about Moakley Park's design and planning process.
Activities include pickup soccer, chess, checkers, tic-tac-toe, Connect Four, and Moakley Park Bingo with prizes. Organizers have picnic blankets, while families are welcome to bring chairs and picnic supplies. Water is provided; bring a reusable bottle.
Advance registration helps organizers plan food. Use 450 Old Colony Avenue for navigation to reach the picnic area near Saunders Stadium.
