A free, all-ages summer evening featuring music from Boston Lyric Opera, dinner, yard games, art activities, climate education, and information from the Boston Parks Department about Moakley Park's redevelopment.
Families can play pickup soccer, chess, checkers, tic-tac-toe, Connect Four, and Moakley Park Bingo with prizes. Picnic blankets are supplied, and visitors may bring their own chairs and picnic gear. Water is available; reusable bottles are encouraged.
Register in advance to help the organizers prepare enough food. Use 450 Old Colony Avenue for navigation to the picnic area near Saunders Stadium.
