Moakley Park Cleanup

Families can spend two hours helping remove litter and natural debris from Boston's largest waterfront park. Boston Harbor Now, Boston Parks and Recreation, and Boston Cares supply breakfast, gloves, pickers, bags, safety instructions, and the other tools needed for the volunteer session.

Meet near the picnic tables and basketball courts by Saunders Stadium. Participants should wear work clothes and closed-toe shoes that can get dirty or wet and should bring water. Sunscreen, a hat, rainwear, or a jacket may be useful depending on the forecast.

The cleanup is planned for rain or shine but may be canceled if severe weather makes conditions unsafe.
