Families can help remove litter and natural debris during a two-hour volunteer cleanup of Boston's largest waterfront park. Boston Harbor Now, Boston Parks and Recreation, and Boston Cares provide breakfast, gloves, litter pickers, bags, safety guidance, and the other necessary tools.
Meet near the picnic tables and basketball courts by Saunders Stadium. Wear work clothes and closed-toe shoes that can get wet or dirty, and bring a water bottle. Depending on conditions, sunscreen, a hat, rainwear, or a jacket may be useful; personal work gloves are optional.
The cleanup runs in ordinary rain but may be canceled for severe weather.
