The Makanda Project is a 13-piece Boston jazz ensemble devoted to the previously unrecorded compositions of Makanda Ken McIntyre. The group also performs works by other composers and develops collaborations with musicians and artists from other disciplines.
This is one of the ensemble’s regular free community concerts in Roxbury.
