This museum-wide celebration centers disabled people, families, advocates, researchers, and innovators who are improving accessibility from within their communities. Visitors can explore tactile literacy, disability policy, assistive technology, developmental research, and community-led approaches to inclusive design.

The day’s related programming includes two soft-light, soft-sound presentations of Big Bird’s Adventure, followed by a free IMAX presentation of How to Train Your Dragon and a free sensory-friendly Taylor Swift Experience in the Planetarium.
