Wharf District
Boston Lyric Opera turns the Greenway into an open-air opera house for a one-hour program of familiar arias. Featured performers are mezzo-soprano Juliette Kaoudji, bass-baritone Zizhao Wang, and pianist Brett Hodgdon. Multilingual selections will be accompanied by playbills containing texts and English translations.
What to know
- The performance is free and recommended for all ages.
- Families may come and go during the concert.
- Grass and perimeter ledges provide seating; blankets and lawn chairs are welcome, and limited chairs will be available for guests with accessibility needs.
- The Greenway is wheelchair accessible. Accommodation requests may be sent to
access@blo.org. - The show can proceed in sun or light drizzle. Severe weather, strong wind, or extreme heat may trigger a move to the July 22 rain date.
- Aquarium is the closest MBTA station; South Station, Downtown Crossing, and Government Center are also within walking distance.
