This interactive workshop explores colonial Boston through British, colonist, and Black perspectives. Storytelling, music, and hands-on participation help children see how historical narratives change depending on whose voices are included.

The program is designed for students in grades K–8 and their families. The Abiel Smith School and African Meeting House are wheelchair accessible and have accessible restrooms. Driving and parking on Beacon Hill are difficult; Park Street, Downtown Crossing, and Bowdoin are the nearest subway stations. Accommodation requests should ideally be made two to three weeks ahead.
