This guided visit compares two chapters in the history of Bowdoin Square’s last surviving mansion. Families learn about the wealthy Otis household in the Federal era and the Williams sisters’ later operation of a genteel boarding house.

It is among the final opportunities to see the interiors before the house closes after August 30 for a multi-year restoration. The building has no ramps, elevator, lift, or air conditioning.
