This guided visit examines two chapters in the last surviving mansion from Bowdoin Square. Families first encounter the wealthy Otis household in the Federal era, then move into the mid-1800s, when the Williams sisters operated the building as a genteel boarding house for middle-class residents.

The visit is one of the final opportunities to see the interiors before an extended restoration begins after August 30. The historic house has no ramps, elevator, lift, or air conditioning.
