Families with older children can join the National Aquarium and National Wildlife Federation to care for the Oriole Garden, a native wildlife garden at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Volunteers will remove weeds and invasive plants; gloves, tools and other materials are supplied.
The garden was established in 2016 with the Baltimore Orioles, Maryland Stadium Authority, National Aquarium and Blue Water Baltimore. Its native plants provide food and shelter for orioles, butterflies, other birds and pollinators affected by habitat fragmentation and urban development.
