NEC Drop-in: Bird Superpowers

Discover the adaptations that function like bird “superpowers,” including strong beaks for eating, wings for flight, and feet designed for perching. Children will connect these features to the ways birds build nests, find food, and survive throughout Cylburn's habitats.

The make-and-take portion invites participants to design an original bird inspired by what they learn.

All ages are welcome, and families may arrive at any point during the hour. Materials are available while supplies last; no registration is required.
