Port Discovery fills the museum with ice-cream-inspired play, art and learning activities for babies through school-age children.
Activities
- Explore a tactile sensory bin filled with colorful materials resembling ice cream and toppings.
- Join an ice-cream edition of Discovery Tales for themed stories and songs.
- Take part in a family game show combining multiple-choice questions with carnival-style challenges and take-home prizes for selected players.
- Watch an ice-cream-ball demonstration, learn how homemade ice cream is made and take home a recipe with instructions for trying it yourself.
Programming is included with regular museum admission and may be adjusted as the schedule is finalized.
