Young Victorian Theatre Company presents Gilbert and Sullivan’s whimsical operetta about a banished fairy, her half-mortal son and a romance disrupted by political maneuvering. Fairies intervene after Strephon’s plans to marry his mortal sweetheart collapse, setting off curses, forbidden love and comic parliamentary chaos. The production is intended for all ages and uses projected surtitles so audiences can follow the lyrics.

This performance is also streamed live online, but the listed occurrence is the in-person show at Gilman School. The air-conditioned auditorium can feel chilly, so families may want to bring a sweater.
