Extended Hours at the BMI

The Baltimore Museum of Industry stays open for a free community evening with access to the museum and its waterfront campus. Families can explore the galleries after the usual closing time and choose between staff-led and self-guided ways to experience Baltimore’s industrial history.

During the evening

• Educators offer the museum’s “Forging Progress” and “History Alive” tours.
• Prerecorded audio tours provide a self-paced option.
• Exhibits and museum spaces remain available for the full experience.
• Local food trucks may visit, with indoor lunchroom seating available for purchased food.

Free on-site parking is available. Designated accessible spaces are located beside the entrance ramp. The museum provides an online registration link for the program.
