Baltimore saxophonist Craig Alston and his Syndicate pay tribute to Grover Washington Jr., George Duke, David Sanborn, Joe Sample, and other jazz masters. The quartet features Alston on saxophone with Rodney Kelley Jr. on keyboards, Cory Baker on bass, and Spyda on drums.
Alston is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, educator, and OrchKids woodwind teacher whose work spans jazz, R&B, soul, hip-hop, and gospel. Children may attend with an adult, though the venue's quiet policy makes the show best for attentive school-age listeners. Admission does not include food or drinks; a two-item minimum and 20% gratuity apply.
