Obasi Akoto leads an open jazz session with musicians from the Baltimore and Washington jazz communities. The format emphasizes live improvisation, changing combinations of performers, and the communal atmosphere of a working jazz club.
Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult; bar seats are restricted to guests 21 and older. The venue asks audiences to observe a quiet policy during performances. Assigned seating is common, and guests should arrive at least 30 minutes early. Admission is free, but the venue requires each guest to purchase two food or beverage items and adds a 20% gratuity.
