Route
- Start at the Northern Walnut Creek Trail access inside Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park.
- Follow the 12-foot concrete trail east and pass beneath North Lamar Boulevard.
- Continue to the Oakbrook Drive trailhead at the end of the 1.3-mile Phase 2A segment.
- Turn around at Oakbrook Drive and retrace the concrete trail to Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park.
Good to know
The path is a shared urban trail and crosses under North Lamar Boulevard. The park's stewardship plan warns that erosion can wash sediment and gravel onto concrete within the park.
