This all-ages walk uses nature words removed from a children’s dictionary—such as acorn, buttercup, fern, heron, dandelion and poppy—to help families notice and name the living world around them.
The program connects with the Dougherty Arts Center exhibition Recovering the Lost Words. Garden admission is included in the ticket, and Conservancy members attend free.
