This guided history program examines Pease Park’s connection to the former Woodlawn homestead of Governor E. M. Pease and Lucadia Pease. Research has identified at least 37 people who were enslaved by the family or whose labor was leased to it.

The walk centers the stories of several of those individuals. Because of the subject matter and tour format, it is best suited to older school-age children attending with an adult.
