The museum’s Discovery Center hosts a story about Ice Age creatures, fossil exploration with a paleontologist and an art studio inspired by prehistoric animals. Fossil encounters include mammoth and mastodon teeth.
Storytime runs from 10:15–10:45 a.m.; fossil exploration and artmaking follow from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Activities are included with museum admission and suit families and curious visitors of all ages.
