Explore the Southwest Trail’s horticultural collections, neighborhood history, and public art with a Trees Atlanta docent. The route includes ConNectar, an artwork about urban pollinators, and finishes at Trees Atlanta’s campus with an optional opportunity to participate in the 2026 Great Southeast Pollinator Census.

Practical details

  • Meet at the intersection of Peeples and White streets beside the Circles sculpture and basketball court.
  • The 1.5-mile route follows paved sidewalks.
  • Bring water, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, weather-appropriate layers, and a hat or sunglasses.
  • Street parking is available. West End MARTA station is approximately a 5–10-minute walk away.
  • Lee + White parking is free for the first two hours and paid afterward.

Registration is required for the tour; the optional pollinator-counting activity has separate registration. Review Trees Atlanta’s inclement-weather and cancellation policy before attending.
