Explore the Southwest Trail’s horticultural collections, neighborhood history, and public art with a Trees Atlanta docent. The route includes ConNectar, an artwork about the importance of pollinators in the urban forest, while introducing the Beltline Arboretum as a public garden, ecological corridor, and outdoor classroom.

Practical details

  • Meet at the intersection of Peeples and White streets beside the Circles sculpture and basketball court.
  • The 1.5-mile route follows paved sidewalks.
  • Bring water, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, weather-appropriate layers, and a hat or sunglasses.
  • Street parking is available. West End MARTA station is approximately a 5–10-minute walk away.
  • Lee + White parking is free for the first two hours and paid afterward.
