Ages 8–10 join Taxonomy Trailblazers, using hands-on lessons and animal encounters to investigate biological classification and the relationships among living things.
Parent logistics
- Camp meets Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; drop-off runs from 8:30–9 a.m. and dismissal from 3:30–4 p.m.
- Advance reservations and full payment are required. Campers must be the correct age for their selected group as of January 1, 2026, and forms must be completed before the first day.
- Families should pack a nut-free lunch in a thermal bag; refrigeration and microwaves are unavailable. The Aquarium provides light morning and afternoon snacks.
- Campers need comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing, a sweater or jacket, closed-toe athletic shoes and a daily change of clothes because hands-on activities may get them damp. Swimming is not part of the program.
- Drop-off and pickup use the signed Camp H2O curb area on Baker Street near Luckie Street. Adults must present the camper ID number shown on the ticket receipt, and only authorized people may collect a child.
