Enter before regular opening for a quiet, guide-led look at how Zoo Atlanta’s elephants begin their day. The 60-minute program stays on the public side of the habitat and combines animal observation, biofacts and time for questions about elephant care. Admission afterward is included.
Check-in begins at 8:15 a.m. at the main entrance, and the tour starts promptly at 8:30. A paid adult must accompany children; ages 2 and younger attend free. Expect some walking and wear comfortable shoes. The program is capped at 30 participants, runs rain or shine and does not include behind-the-scenes access.
