Morning Hike

Take a two-hour guided hike through the old-growth ecosystem of Fernbank Forest. The specific focus varies by outing and may include birds, tree identification, wildflowers, or another aspect of the forest.

Trail conditions

• The hike runs rain or shine unless weather becomes hazardous.
• Terrain is uneven and can be steep.
• Trails are not ADA accessible and are unsuitable for strollers.
• Dress for the forecast and expect approximately two hours outdoors.
• If Fernbank cancels for inclement weather, registered participants will be emailed the day before and refunded.
