The Mayor’s Summer Reading Club brings two readings of Dinosaur! to the museum stage, at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Written by Olivia Aston Bosworth and illustrated by Alex Ferror, the story follows a dinosaur-loving child who sees prehistoric visitors everywhere—even at preschool, the grocery store, and a grown-up dinner party. Its everyday situations turn into playful dinosaur chaos designed to get young listeners laughing and roaring along.

After each storytime, families may pick up a free copy of the book from Security as they leave, while supplies last. Copies are available in English and Spanish.

The readings are included with museum admission. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged because walk-up tickets are limited; infants 11 months and younger still need a free $0 ticket. Adults may enter only with a child. The recommended parking lot is at 236 Williams Street, one block away; Peachtree Center MARTA station is about an eight-minute walk, and the Centennial Olympic Park streetcar stop is about a five-minute walk.
