Kids Night Out: Savanna Giants

Children spend an educator-led evening at the Zoo with an after-hours tour, games, activities, crafts, a story and pizza dinner. “Savanna Giants” examines rhinos, elephants, giraffes and ostriches, the adaptations that make them distinctive and the role people play in protecting them.

This is a drop-off program for ages 5–11. Advance registration and full payment are required, with registration closing at midnight on the preceding Wednesday; walk-ups are not accepted. An adult age 18 or older must handle drop-off and pickup at the Education Conservation Gate. The program runs rain or shine and can move indoors during heavy weather.
