The first day of a two-session outdoor tennis camp for beginner and intermediate players. About 70% of camp time is devoted to court instruction and games covering technique, scoring, match play, and tennis etiquette. Other activities include water balloons, capture the flag, and kickball.
Children can earn HEART cards redeemable for small toys, candy, and prizes. Every camper receives a T-shirt, award, and HEART-card store visit; racquets are supplied.
Parent notes
- Camp 3 consists of both July 21 and July 23 sessions.
- Each child must be preregistered separately; walk-ups are not accepted.
- A signed waiver is required.
- Bring a water bottle, towel, snacks, hat, and sunscreen.
- Capacity is 20 campers.
