Dinosaur Birthday Bash

Celebrate 25 years of Giants of the Mesozoic with a high-energy morning of hands-on dinosaur activities in the Great Hall. Families can take a photo with a giant T. rex, join a DJ-led dance party, decorate a dinosaur party hat, play Pin the Tail on the Dino, test their knowledge with trivia, and ask museum experts about prehistoric life.

Scheduled highlights

• Live animal encounter at 11 a.m.
• Dinosaur-themed birthday sing-along at noon
• Great Hall activity stations available from 10 a.m.–1 p.m.

Activities may change. Parking is limited and may fill; families should be prepared to park offsite and walk or use a rideshare. The event can be paired with other Dinosaur Summer experiences, including the T. REX giant-screen film and T. rex: The Ultimate Predator exhibit, which may have separate admission considerations.
